We are seeking to understand the parameters that affect the colorimetric readout in µPADs and improve the figures of merit for methods dealing with such devices.  

This research focus on the improvement of colorimetric readouts in microfluidic paper-based analytical devices (µPAD). We perform colorimetric glucose determination by using glucose oxidase, peroxidase, and a redox indicator as a model, since this is the most used and well-characterized system.
